Hi Friends & Family! You may recall that I’m a board member at the Truckee Roundhouse makerspace—my favorite place in all of Truckee.

What is the Roundhouse? 

The Truckee Roundhouse is an immersive community makerspace that offers a place to learn, explore, use tools & be inspired by a whole community of makers. The space runs off of donations, grant funding and membership fees. A donation of any size is greatly appreciated and will help us achieve $60,000 in donations with a $30,000 match potential.

Your donation helps with the following:

• SPACE EXPANSION! We have an exciting opportunity to expand to our next door space to increase the Roundhouse by 1100 sq ft, plus a loft! This will allow us to expand programming, classes & creative resources.
• Community enrichment programs & scholarships—for groups such as Tahoe Expeditionary Academy, Sierra High & Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships, Boys & Girls Club
• Affordable Membership rates—making the Roundhouse accessible to all members of our community 
• Events like the Fixit Clinic co-hosted by Keep Truckee Green, where we have helped fix and save over 1,000 lbs of household goods from being landfilled
