During the COVID 19 emergency Little Gems have asked for a grant to cover their overhead during their closure and to support their reopening in June. Funds raised here allow for Little Gems to maintain its stellar program of providing care and grounding to small humans.
Little Gems of the Sierra is a Waldorf-Inspired non-profit preschool in Truckee, California. At Little Gems, we believe that young children are intrinsically intelligent and that implicit teaching methods will not only draw forth this intelligence but will serve to affirm the young child’s sense of worth.
