Tahoe Fund

The Tahoe Fund is the only nonprofit dedicated to funding environmental improvement projects in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Since 2010, the Tahoe Fund has built a portfolio of over 220 projects that help reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire, improve lake clarity, and make it easier to get around, enjoy, and take care of Lake Tahoe. 

Thanks to the generosity of our many donors, we have leveraged $30 million in private funding to secure more than $200 million in public funding for these projects. We have helped repair watersheds, remove aquatic invasive species, build new sections of bike paths and inspire greater stewardship of Tahoe.
