Families are empowered through access to civil legal aid, healthcare, housing, immigration resources and early childhood education. We use proven strategies to promote healthy, thriving families. The Family Resource Center of Truckee (FRCoT) is looking for bilingual (English & Spanish) volunteers to serve as the first point of contact with the FRCoT. Reception plays a crucial role @ FRCoT. Volunteers will help individuals and families learn about and connect to resources, both at the FRCoT and in the community. We seek volunteers willing to work various hours per week during business hours. FRCoT Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 am-4 pm, Wednesdays 10 am- 6 pm and closed Fridays. We have other volunteer opportunities in other areas such as Family Room, Community Legal Program, Family Fun Nights & Fundraising and Community Events. The Family Resource Center of Truckee (FRCoT) is looking for motivated board members who are action-oriented and share experience in fundraising, marketing, event planning and/or community engagement. Are you ready to contribute your time, thoughtfulness and leadership to the well being of our community? The FRCoT Board of Directors meets on the second Thursday of each month, 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Family Resource Center of Truckee. Members typically contribute 3 - 10 hours per month in addition to the full board meetings depending on committee meeting and event schedules.
